We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual First Business Golf Invitational for Charity! This event is organized as a "winner takes all" tournament with two person teams competing in a best ball format. Each two-some selects one local charity for which they will play. First Business Bank has committed to covering 100 percent of the event costs, which means this year with a full field one team has the chance to win over $50,000 for their local charity.

LAST YEAR’S EVENT

In 2012, Dave and Teri Bruns from Sherman Plaza Inc. and CoreBTS won $45,000 for American Family Children's Hospital.

  • "I'd like to thank First Business Bank for the creative idea to bring so many people together to compete in support of their favorite charities. The day was really enjoyable. The three hole playoff was a little nerve racking. Both Dave and I have been supporters of American Family Children's Hospital since its inception and continue to applaud the efforts of the Children's Hospital to serve the community patients and families in their time of need. We'll be back next year!" commented Teri Bruns, President of CoreBTS.
  • "I'd also like to say thank you to First Business Bank for hosting this tournament for the benefit of Madison area charities, and thanks to the sponsors for their support. I'd like to thank Teri Bruns of CoreBTS and Dave Bruns of Sherman Plaza Inc. for selecting American Family Children's Hospital as their charity of choice. On behalf of the patients and families we serve, we humbly accept this donation and look forward to putting it toward our Sick Kids Can't Wait campaign so that we may continue providing great care for children both today and in future generations," stated Jim Gilmore, Development Program Manager of American Family Children's Hospital.
